In the report, Sun Ruizhe analyzed the core logic and the fundamental reason that the Chinese textile industry achieved great changes in the past 70 years. Nowadays, China's textile industry has become a major support force for building a powerful country, building a well-off society in an all-round way, promoting innovation and development, and coordinating regional development, and has become a driving force. The textile industry is one of the few industrial sectors in China that has the capability of closed-loop innovation in the whole industry chain. In 2019, the top ten top 100 counties in China were deeply related to the textile and garment industry. At present, the world economy is undergoing structural adjustment. The industry has undergone unprecedented changes in the past hundred years, and the process of economic globalization has deepened. The global value chain cooperation has become the main form of international trade. At present, the trade of 2/3 in the whole world only involves intermediate products, and the Interindustry and interregional cooperation is more symbiotic. In addition, the underlying structure of infrastructure's global industrial development has also undergone fundamental changes. Hua Weirong, deputy secretary and President of the Party committee of the League of nations, said that Wuxi cotton was founded in 1919. The founder was a pioneer of modern Chinese national industry and commerce, Rong Desheng and Rong Chung Jing brothers. After hundreds of years of inheritance, Wuxi is now taking the brand new image of "quality, intelligence and internationalization" to show the prosperity of the leading enterprises in China's cotton textile industry.

Today, the first foreign investment project of Wuxi League of Nations group, Wuxi's one cotton project, is officially put into operation. This project will be built as the largest production base of Ethiopia cotton textile industry. The project will acquire 51 hectares of land, and plan to invest and build 300 thousand spindles, with a total investment of about 220 million US dollars. It mainly cooperates with the international first-line brands to produce high-grade yarn dyed knitted fabrics, knitted fabrics and home textile products. It will also support the African national costume production line and establish cooperative relations with domestic enterprises. The completion of the project can provide 3500 jobs for Ethiopia.

Zhou Yejun said that dreaming for hundreds of years is a dream of Wuxi's "cotton industry to serve the country" and a dream of creating world-class textile factories. A hundred years of pioneering work and the struggle of several generations have made today's Wuxi cotton. Celebrating the centenary and looking forward to the future, we shoulder the historic responsibility of carrying forward the future. He said: today the completion of the project of Ethiopia has been a successful summary of the past hundred years of Wuxi cotton and a new starting point for high-quality development. Wuxi's cotton and Ethiopia textile industry capacity cooperation and "going global" international layout will help to achieve new growth point and profit point of enterprises, help enterprises transform from inward to outward, and effectively use capacity cooperation to realize transformation and upgrading of Wuxi's factory automation and intelligent transformation, and maintain Wuxi's cotton textile industry's leading and benchmarking position in China. At the same time, through export management, technology and culture, the textile industry of Ethiopia will be promoted and developed. Through close cooperation with many universities and research institutes such as Ethiopia Textile Research Institute and diamond Dawa University, the one cotton Ethiopian plant will also become a base for Ethiopian industry university research cooperation and personnel training.
