In September of golden autumn, ten million mu of cotton in Xinjiang, the largest cotton producing area in China, began to harvest cotton mechanically on the northern slope of Tianshan Mountain. This year, about 37 million mu of cotton will be planted in Xinjiang, and the harvest time of cotton is expected to be more than one month. According to the data of agricultural and rural mechanization development center of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the comprehensive mechanized cotton harvest rate in Xinjiang will exceed 80% in 2021.
