On the evening of October 24, local time, news came from Helsinki, the capital of Finland, that Dong Qingli, a young teacher of Hunan Vocational College of Arts and crafts, won the gold medal in the fashion technology project of the 2022 World skills competition, realizing the "three consecutive championships" of China's Fashion Technology in the world championships with greater advantages.

World skills competition is known as "World Skills Olympics", and its competitive level represents the world advanced level of vocational skills development. On October 19, the Finnish division of the 2022 World Skills Competition opened in Helsinki. Athletes from 20 countries and regions participated in the fashion technology competition. There are four assessment modules in this fashion technology competition, which require the contestants to complete the fashion design, three-dimensional modeling, punching and layout, clothing production and other aspects within 18 hours according to the materials and equipment provided on site and in accordance with the requirements of the competition. After four days of fierce competition, Dong Qing won the championship of fashion technology event, adding another gold medal to the Chinese delegation.

In order to prepare for the 2022 World skills competition, Dong Qing gave up his rest time and devoted himself to preparing for the competition. Together with the experts and coaches of the guiding team, he carefully analyzed and studied the competition rules, collected various materials and repeatedly polished his works, and finally stood out in this world skills competition.

It is reported that Dong Qing graduated from Hunan Arts and Crafts Vocational College in 2020, majoring in clothing and fashion design, and stayed in the university to teach in the same year. During the school, she participated in the vocational skills competition on behalf of the school for many times, and won 5 awards of various skills competitions. In 2018, it was awarded the first prize of fashion design and technology competition of higher vocational group of national vocational colleges, and was awarded the title of "national textile and clothing professional students' professional skills pacesetter"; In 2019, he won the bronze medal in the fashion technology competition of the first vocational skills competition of the people's Republic of China, and won the title of "national technical expert" issued by the Ministry of human resources and social security.
