The Trade Promotion Authorization Act Of The United States Will Be Supported By Congress.

At the beginning of this week, US President George Bush submitted the trade promotion Authorization Act (TPA) to Congress to make the temporary trade plan a lasting trend and to ensure that the market of raw materials in the United States, such as cotton, increased the entry of us products to the Columbia market.

The United States Trade Promotion authorization act with Columbia is necessary to ensure fair and extensive trade, said Kevin Booker, President and chief executive of the AAFA.

The importance of Columbia as a trading partner of the United States has put pressure on the entire textile and garment industry.

The Federation of representatives from the US textile and clothing supply chain, from cotton to consumer goods, sent a letter to the Congress and the Bush administration to predict relations with the Andean region, including Columbia.

Booker said that the trade promotion authorization law will contribute to the economic stability of the two countries.
