In 2007, the average unit price of Fujian exported garments increased significantly, knitted garments increased by 16.76%, and woven garments increased by 6.33%.



The increase of the average export clothing price in Fujian is mainly due to the public innovation platform constructed by the entire garment industry. It solves the public technical problems in the textile and garment industry, and guides and promotes the development and popularization of new products and technologies in the garment industry.

Asia, Europe and North America are major markets for clothing exports in Fujian.



Private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises are the main force of textile and clothing export in Fujian. In 2007, their exports amounted to 4 billion 487 million US dollars, accounting for 82.68% of the total export volume of clothing.
