In August, the Sichuan provincial chamber of Commerce organized 56 enterprises in the two major industries of clothing and footwear industry in Italy, Spain and France to launch the Sichuan Europe economic and trade activities week.

Yesterday, the provincial chamber of Commerce announced the results of economic and trade activities. Some of the world famous brand shoes and garments will be made in Sichuan.

Chengdu has signed a contract for the export of 600 thousand euros of women's shoes with the company of Bai Lan and Italy Franco company. A number of enterprises in Chengdu will jointly produce the first 5000 pairs of women's shoes and 10 thousand suits for the French company.

Italy Giuseppe Footwear Company and Chengdu Emin shoes company signed a joint venture cooperation agreement to produce high-grade leather shoes. Italy Ballin shoes company intends to provide equipment, technology and brand, and Chengdu in cooperation with the Bai Lan shoes company, produces 50 thousand pairs of women's shoes, all exported to Europe.

The Italy shoemaking Institute will also jointly run schools with Sichaun Business Vocational College to train senior professionals in the footwear industry of our province.
