In the long run, with the increase of cotton planting area and yield per unit area, the world's cotton output will increase from the current 23 million tons to more than 30 million tons in the next 10 years.

By 2018/19, the global average yield will reach 60 kg / mu, which is 16% higher than the current level.

Meanwhile, the volume of cotton trade will increase by 55% over 10 years, reaching over 10 million tons.
