First Prize For Knitting Fashion Design Competition Announced

The first knitted fashion design competition in China is presented here today. Yang Yan, a Xinjiang Uygur, has won the gold medal for the "national wind" work, "Silk Road beauty". The Shandong player Jiao Liping / Liu Shanshan's works "form" and Yang Mengting's works "the British era" won the Silver Award.

It is reported that this competition is sponsored by the China knitwear industry association and China (Qingdao) International Fashion Week Organizing Committee. It is the first fashion design competition in China, mainly knitted fabrics and outstanding knitting characteristics.

According to the organizing committee, the purpose of this competition is to advocate natural and healthy fashion concepts, accelerate the fashion and coats of Chinese knitted garments, and solve the problem of imbalance between fashion and industrialization.

It also hopes to find and recommend talents in the clothing industry through competition, improve the original design level of knitted garments, and promote the adjustment and upgrading of China's knitted apparel industry.

It is understood that the competition attracted 161 athletes from 18 provinces and municipalities in Shanghai, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Shandong, Hubei, Henan, Xinjiang, Dalian and Dalian. After 30 levels of competition, 30 athletes entered the finals today.
