The First Largest Clothing Retail Group Plans To Open Stores In China And Brazil.

Philip, PhilipGreen, the largest British fashion and clothing chain retail companies ArcadiaGroupLtd, told Bloomberg Television in London on Thursday that the company plans to enter dozens of branches in China and Brazil to promote growth in the emerging market.


Philip Green, 58, said: "we hope to enter the Chinese market next year." "We have been operating in Hongkong for a long time, and it will be convenient for the mainland market," he said. It is understood that last week, the group has just signed the agreement to enter the Brazil market.


Philip Green said the company is also planning to enter the US and Canadian markets and is still in the process of preparation. He said the company plans to open four to five stores in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and other cities. Last year, ArcadiaGroupLtd group opened its first branch in North America in Manhattan.


Philip Green said: "if you want to build an international brand, you have to set up branches in many countries."


ArcadiaGroup, founded in 195, is currently the largest clothing retailer in Britain. Since 1952, SirMontague opened the first men's wear shop specializing in selling Burton brand. So far, it has acquired and merged more than ten different brand clothing enterprises. Through the brand expansion in the clothing industry, the company has established more than 2000 regular chain stores in the UK, and has set up more than 200 franchise stores worldwide. The expansion policy of ArcadiaGroup has distinct pertinence. The clothing market is further divided according to factors such as gender, age and body shape, and different brand marketing strategies are implemented for different consumer groups.
