Zhangzhou, Fujian, maintained a rapid growth in exports to the US in the first 5 months of 2010.
As of May 25th, the value of goods exported to the United States in the Zhangzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau was 218 million 380 thousand and 900 US dollars, up 53.15% over the same period last year.
The head of Zhangzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau said that in the first 5 months of this year, Zhangzhou's exports of industrial and mineral products to the United States increased by 142 million 48 thousand and 900 US dollars, up 48.81% from the same period last year. The main varieties were small household appliances, furniture products and footwear, and agricultural products exported 76 million 332 thousand US dollars, an increase of 61.96% over the same period last year. The main products were aquatic products, canned food, vegetable products, etc.
Since 2010, the Zhangzhou inspection and Quarantine Bureau has actively taken measures to promote the export of products to the United States, and has come to help enterprises train quality management personnel, guide enterprises to establish and improve the quality management system, and so on, so as to improve the quality of export commodities and expand exports.
At the same time, we must fully implement time limit services in all aspects of inspection and quarantine, further improve the efficiency of inspection and quarantine clearance, and ensure the smooth customs clearance of export commodities.
