According to the statistics of 48 Enterprises above the textile machinery industry in Fujian Textile Association, the total output value of the textile machinery industry reached 889 million yuan in 1~5 months this year, an increase of 25.7% compared with the same period last year, and the sales revenue reached 885 million yuan, up 44.1% over the same period last year; the sales and sales rate was 99.28%; the total profits and taxes were 70 million yuan, an increase of 62.79% over the same period last year; the profit was 48 million yuan, an increase of 84.6% over the same period last year; the value of export delivery was 102 million yuan, an increase of 62.79% over the same period last year.

Fujian textile machinery industry mainly relies on two major textile machinery equipment, knitted and dyeing equipment.

According to statistics, there are nearly 100 enterprises in knitting machinery, printing and dyeing machinery manufacturing enterprises in Quanzhou. Among them, there are large scale concave convex precision machinery, South Star Industrial machinery, Jinjiang Acer machinery, Fujian Hongqi stock, Jinjiang dragon machinery, Baoxiang knitting machinery, poly printing and dyeing machinery, Quanzhou force Maoming precision machinery, Quanzhou Jiasheng machinery, bu Shu machinery, Quanzhou Jiading machinery, Quanzhou Baiyuan machinery, Zheng Xin (Quanzhou) machinery, Jinjiang poly Xing textile machinery, Shishi Tai fan machinery, Nan Xing industrial machinery company and so on.

The expansion of Fujian textile machinery industry has benefited from the rapid development of knitting and printing and dyeing industry in Fujian in recent years. Because of its good industrial foundation, Fujian textile machinery industry still got the chance to develop counter trend in the unfavorable situation of financial crisis in 2008 and 2009.

On the one hand, the growth of equipment demand is due to the increasingly stringent requirements of the state on the mandatory targets for energy saving and emission reduction. Some enterprises have to eliminate some non energy saving models, and replace the new equipment with more significant energy saving and emission reduction effects. On the other hand, due to the increase in the demand for velvet fabrics, the requirements for finishing, printing, dyeing and other technologies are getting higher and higher, which directly drives the sale of equipment such as finishing and printing. Especially the sales of rotary screen printing machines are much larger than those of previous years.
