Reporters learned from the Tianjin development zone that in 2010, a total of 302 enterprises in the Development Zone launched collective wage consultations, an increase of 233 compared with 2009, an increase of more than 330%, and 142 thousand of the employees benefited.
The number of enterprises participating in collective wage consultations this year is expected to reach 350, with 150 thousand employees in the region.

From the beginning, the relevant departments of the Development Zone cooperate with the third party companies to conduct a salary and welfare survey of the enterprises in the region to understand the wage and welfare level of the enterprises in the region.
At the same time, it also implemented a financial incentive policy for wage collective bargaining and enterprises that increase wages for front-line employees.
In the past 5 years, the number of award-winning enterprises in the development zone has increased from 18 to 86, and the financial reward has exceeded 70 million yuan, the wage has increased by about 500 million yuan, and nearly 300 thousand people have benefited from the front-line staff.
The steady increase of staff wages has greatly enhanced the stability of employees, and enterprises have also got rid of the shortage of staff and the increasing training costs.
