Peru'S Exports Of Shoes Increased By 21.9% In The First 7 Months.

The statistics released by Peru export and Tourism Promotion Association showed that in the first 7 months of this year, the export volume of footwear products in Peru reached US $7 million 740 thousand, an increase of 21.9% over the same period last year.

The statistical report points out that the export volume of footwear in Peru has increased significantly, mainly driven by market demand in Columbia, Ecuador and Chile.

In the first 7 months of this year, the total import of footwear products from the 3 neighbouring countries from Peru increased by 24.33%, 15.22% and 56.96% respectively over the same period last year.

It also says that shoes, knitted fabrics and leather shoes are the best selling products in the footwear products produced in Peru.
