In order to maintain the healthy and orderly development of cashmere industry, the cashmere professional committee of China Wool Textile Industry Association has organized eight cashmere fiber content comparison tests since 2015, aiming to improve the detection level of domestic cashmere fiber content, which has attracted great attention and positive response from domestic and foreign industries. From December 10 to 11, in order to further analyze the eighth comparison test and exchange the advanced technology of wool detection, China Wool Textile Industry Association organized the 2024 National Wool Fiber Detection Technology Exchange Conference in Yulin, Shaanxi Province.
The meeting was hosted by China Wool Textile Industry Association and Yulin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and undertaken by Cashmere Professional Committee of China Wool Textile Industry Association, Inner Mongolia Ordos Resources Co., Ltd. and Inner Mongolia Dongke Textile Testing Service Co., Ltd.

"In recent years, the internal and external situation faced by the wool textile industry is more complex, but from the production point of view, the various product categories of wool textile still remain in the stable range or recovery range; judging from the correlation between quality and price, cashmere has always been an indispensable treasure resource in the global luxury industry." Liu Jiaqiang, President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, said: "Inspection and detection work is an important link to ensure product quality, improve enterprise strength, promote industrial upgrading, and maintain industrial safety. Since 2015, China Wool Association Cashmere Professional Committee, in conjunction with Inner Mongolia Ordos Resources Co., Ltd., has insisted on holding eight sessions of cashmere fiber content comparison tests, and has participated in more than 350 detection laboratories, promoting and leading the whole industry The industry has improved its villus detection technology and played an important role in training professional and technical personnel. "
Liu Jiaqiang said that he hoped that through this exchange meeting, everyone could share the harvest of comparative test, the progress of detection technology and the research results of cutting-edge technology, discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the development of the industry, and jointly promote the innovation and progress of cashmere detection technology.
Cashmere and yak hair are important high-end domestic raw materials in the wool textile industry. Liu Yan, Vice President of China Wool Textile Industry Association, introduced and analyzed the latest situation, detection technology, existing problems and development direction of the main links of the wool textile industry chain around the germplasm distribution, wool output, raw material quality and processing technology.
At present, the whole industry is committed to exploring new ways to empower the wool textile industry with new quality productivity. Liu Yan pointed out that, from the perspective of the whole cashmere industry chain, promoting the integrated development of animal husbandry, industry and trade, and promoting the integration and innovation of the industry chain in the digital, intellectual and chemical aspects is an irreversible trend of cashmere industry upgrading until the "15th Five Year Plan". In the field of detection technology, Liu Yan suggested that we should focus on several aspects: first, research new technologies and standards, which will be based on the impact of dyeing and chemical additives on fiber scales; Second, establish and improve various dynamic databases based on image artificial intelligence; The third is to conduct in-depth exploration in high-precision feature recognition, index determination and algorithm optimization. These measures will provide a solid guarantee for the realization of intelligent, efficient and accurate detection, and also provide a key technical support for improving the industry's inspection and detection capabilities and promoting the cashmere industry to a multi-dimensional, high-quality and sustainable development.

Improve detection and identification skills
As in previous years, this year's comparison test of fluff fiber content and non fluff length and fineness also received positive response from the industry. This comparison test was attended by 45 enterprises, testing institutions and university laboratories across the country.
Pang Ruidong, secretary-general of Cashmere Professional Committee of China Wool Textile Industry Association, said when analyzing the identification ability of cashmere comparison test that most laboratories have a basic grasp of the qualitative detection of cashmere, sheep hair, yak hair, camel hair, and quantitative, especially the quantitative of blended products containing yak hair and other unusual animal fibers, still need a lot of practice against standard samples, Participate in the comparison test and capability verification of various types of plush to improve the identification level. The manual platoon length has received layout drawings and drawings from 11 laboratories, which basically meet the standard requirements. Some layout drawings and mapping measurements are slightly lacking, and there are problems such as uneven arrangement of thickness, short pile stacking, inaccurate calculation of length CV, and so on. It is also necessary for the inspectors to constantly improve their skills and practice more in more rows to improve their skill. The fineness result is basically satisfactory, and only a few companies are not within the error range. It is recommended to use cashmere and wool fineness standard sample verification equipment to check the detection method. In general, the continuous conduct of the comparison test and the development of technical exchanges have improved the detection capability of the participating enterprises, and the correctness of the detection results has been significantly improved.
Ma Haiyan, the head of animal fiber content testing section of Inner Mongolia Dongke Textile Testing Service Co., Ltd., combed the national wool comparison samples in 2024, and analyzed the identification difficulties of various comparison samples. She concluded that for dark samples, color stripping treatment should be carried out before further qualitative and quantitative analysis; Take, prepare and measure samples in strict accordance with standard methods; It is necessary to be familiar with and master the morphological characteristics of different types of fibers, and have a certain comprehensive analysis ability. It is necessary to conduct overall analysis in combination with the overall situation of the sample; It is necessary to see more, repeatedly, contrast and continuously, and participate in ability verification and comparison tests to improve the accuracy of the test results.
According to the comparison test results of national fluff fiber content and non fluff fineness detection in 2024, 11 units including the Test Center of Beijing Wool Textile Science Research Institute have reached the level of "excellent laboratory"; 10 units including Beijing Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Inspection have reached the level of "good laboratory"; 11 people including Gao Xutong from the Inspection Center of Beijing Wool Textile Science Research Institute have reached the level of "excellent experimenters". Then, as representatives of advanced laboratories and experimenters, Lu Cuiling from Jiangsu Lianhong Textile Co., Ltd., Shen Qiong from Shanghai Tianxiang Quality Technology Service Co., Ltd., Feng Yue from Kangsaini Group Co., Ltd., and Qiu Yaping from Hebei Yuteng Cashmere Products Co., Ltd. introduced relevant experience respectively.
In the afternoon of the same day, Chen Jihong, senior manager of Intertek (Tianjin) Quality Technology Services Co., Ltd., shared about the issues related to the testing of fluff fiber, and she suggested that the contents not clearly specified in the national/industrial standards should be operated in a unified way for the time being or a consensus should be reached as soon as possible; Interpret the fiber diameter test result parameters related to fineness test and the IH calibration standard of the International Wool Textile Laboratory Association.
Wang Fumei, a professor from the Textile College of Donghua University, differentiated and analyzed the domestic and foreign technologies of wool fiber length measurement. She introduced the existing fiber length measurement instruments at home and abroad, compared the new national standard test results of wool fiber length measurement with the traditional length measurement methods, introduced the pre research of the new national standard of combing wool length measurement, and looked forward to the technical and economic benefits of the double whisker method.
Fei Jing, senior engineer of Shanghai Customs Industrial Products and Raw Materials Testing Technology Center, introduced the application of MALDI-TOF-MS technology in the qualitative and quantitative detection of special animal fibers. She said that DNA detection is highly sensitive and can be tested in batches, but the range of use is limited, and the quantity of recycled fibers and over treated fibers is inaccurate; Protein detection is relatively stable and has a wide range of applications. It can detect multiple species at a time, but the content cannot be detected.

Promote the innovative development of Yulin cashmere industry
Yulin is the largest sheep raising city in non pastoral areas in China and an important part of the national cashmere industry. Its annual wool output is more than 6500 tons, of which the cashmere output is 1800 tons, accounting for 10% of the national cashmere output. Wang Huasheng, head of the United Front Work Department of the Standing Committee of Yulin Municipal Committee of the CPC, mentioned in his speech that the conference held in Yulin is a good opportunity for Yulin cashmere industry to further improve its innovation ability and technical level and promote high-quality development of the industry. The topic discussed at the meeting is also a major issue facing the development of Yulin cashmere industry, which has a great guiding role for Yulin. He hoped that through this meeting, the delegates would further deepen their understanding and understanding of Yulin, put forward more valuable opinions and suggestions, and help Yulin cashmere and wool industry develop in high quality.
