Since its birth, the London Fashion Week has gradually won a good reputation of "showing new fashion and building platform for young designers".

During the 5 days of this fashion week, 51 women's shows were held. On the last day, men's wear show will be the first time for the entire fashion week.

During the fashion week, more than 170 garment and accessories dealers attended the exhibition.

According to professional statistics, fashion week can create a direct value of 20 million pounds (now 1 pounds, or about 1.5 dollars) for the British economy.

The London Fashion Week has attracted media coverage around the world, bringing 50 million pounds of intangible assets to London.

Speaking of fashion week, Caroline Rush, director of the Liaison Department of the British Fashion Council, is proud.

She told Xinhua that "London Fashion Week is very unique because this is the stage for young designers to display their works on our T stage. I think it owes much to our excellent school of fashion design and the city's encouraging young people to create new atmosphere."

She believes that London has experienced a lot in the past 25 years, not only the number of designers participating in the fashion show has increased, but also the reputation of the exhibition has been increasing. Fashion week has become the "best platform for the design genius of the world".

The organizers are very cautious about hosting the fashion week under the shadow of the global financial crisis.

Rush said frankly: "it will be more difficult to work in the current economic situation.

But in fact, the devaluation of the pound has become a favorable condition for many people to come to London.

Many international buyers and spectators feel that they can afford to spend money in London.

For British designers, the number of exhibitors has not changed this time.

From the audience point of view, the audience of fashion leaders from all over the world is still on the move.

The only real impact is on US buyers, mainly because of the economic problems of the United States.

Exhibitors are prepared for this particular situation.

Designer Liu Make said: "the financial crisis has affected the exhibition samples to some extent.

You can see some beautiful designs, and you will see some low-key fashions that people can afford to buy.

We can say that considering the financial crisis factors, people's budget is tighter than before.

Consumers still need beautiful clothes and clothes that they can afford. "

Designer Sarah Laci believes that people are really looking for value for money fashion, and are looking for something that can make their lives more meaningful.

Over the past 25 years, the fashion Committee has evolved from exhibitions and fashion shows to organizations that create opportunities for tomorrow's stars. The main reason for its success is to provide support and help for new designers.

Today, the Committee continues to support designers who are active in the London fashion industry and contribute to the whole industry.

This year, the fashion committee will continue to promote enterprise training programs targeted at designers and encourage young people to join the fashion industry through cooperation with art galleries, designers, retailers, sponsors and the media.
