Azeguli, who was born in 1990, has a dream since childhood, that is, to make the traditional Adeles silk revitalize, to design clothes that not only retain the traditional charm but also incorporate fashion elements, so that more people can feel the charm of Adeles silk.

Adles silk is one of the most favorite clothing fabrics for Uygur women. It is known as the "flower of cuckoo bird wings", implying that it can bring spring to people. It adopts traditional warp binding and dyeing process, and all production processes are completed by hand, which has high artistic value. In 2008, the silk weaving and dyeing skills of Adles were included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

Azigouli grew up in a tailor family and was influenced by her family since childhood. "At that time, I thought that when I grew up, I would become a tailor like my parents," Aziguri swore in her heart.

At the age of 18, she began to learn sewing skills from her parents. Among the many fabrics, Adles silk became her favorite. She followed the older generation of craftsmen, from weaving to dyeing, from design to cutting, step by step into the wonderful world of Adeles silk.

However, Aziguri also found problems in the process of design and creation. Although the Adles silk dresses are beautiful, their styles are too traditional to be accepted by modern people and worn daily.

"At that time, I thought that there must be new elements in the design of Adles silk clothing, so as to attract young people." She began to study modern aesthetics, pay attention to fashion trends, and try to combine traditional elements with modern design. "I have decided to find a new way out for Adles Silk."

Aziguri found that the delicacy and femininity of Adeles silk are not contradictory to the simplicity and practicality of modern clothing, but can collide with other sparks. There is no lack of modernity in the simplicity.

So Aziguri began her journey of innovation. She has traveled to Beijing, Hangzhou, Guangzhou and other places for many times to participate in design seminars, visit well-known designers, and absorb design concepts from different regions and cultures. She has designed modern clothes, such as cheongsam, suits, wedding dresses, and so on, which integrate the elements of Adeles silk. Each piece retains the traditional charm and is full of fashion.

When she showed these works to the villagers, everyone was shocked. It turned out that Adles silk could still be worn like this.

In 2016, Azeguli founded the company. She led the team to devote herself to the research and innovation of the silk clothing of Adles, and designed more and more dazzling works.

When we entered Aziguri's studio, we found all kinds of design drawings and samples on the wall. From exquisite hand drawn sketches to modern computer graphics, each one recorded their footprints of exploration and innovation.

The most eye-catching is the finished clothes displayed on the model rack in an orderly manner. One of them is her latest design of a dress based on Adles silk, which combines classical and modern aesthetics. The skirt body adopts unique dyeing technology, which makes the color on the silk like ink, not only retaining the original simplicity and luster of the Adeles silk, but also adding a sense of modern art. "Many young girls like this dress very much," she said.

As Aziguri's design gradually became popular, her name also spread in the industry. His works not only won a good reputation locally, but also attracted customers from all over the country. They flew to Xinjiang specially to customize a silk dress designed by Aziguri.

"We still have a long way to go before Adles Silk can really enter the life of modern people." Aziguri began to learn more design knowledge, participate in various fashion activities, and exchange experience with peers. Her design is becoming more and more mature and distinctive, and the Adles silk is also blooming in her hands.

"My dream is very simple, that is to make Adles Silk a bridge connecting the past and the future, so that more people can feel its beauty and charm," Aziguri said.
